Frequently Asked Questions
|
What is the process for becoming a new client?
The first step is for me to clearly understand the new client's investment goal(s), time horizon, and risk tolerance. I
obtain this information from discussions with the client and from a questionnaire. Using this information, I put
together an Investment Policy Statement (Investment Plan). After we have established an Investment Policy
Statement, then the new client executes the Managed Account Agreement and the necessary brokerage forms.
Once these forms are executed, I begin managing their account(s). The process usually takes two to three meetings
either in-person or over the phone.
How do your investment management services work?
If a client does not already have their investments with an online brokerage firm, they will be asked to open an
account in their name and transfer their investments to an online brokerage firm. I usually recommend using firms like
Ameritrade, Scottrade, Vanguard or Charles Schwab because of their low fees. The client will then sign an
agreement that gives me authorization to buy and sell securities on their behalf. I will manage the account in
accordance with investment guidelines established for the client. A client can terminate the investment management
agreement at any time with written notice to Noe Investment Planning and Management.

It allows them to view their investment plans, run what-if scenarios, and put together a financial budget. It also has
the capability to store and update the market values for clients financial accounts on a daily basis, including the
